Inventory Overview

The THG Fulfil API enables you to Create, Read, and Delete inventory items, which represent immutable units for fulfilment.

Inventory items will be validated for barcode uniqueness, before requiring approval for use in the warehouse - requiring accurate classification and correct documentation for hazardous materials. You can see this progress via the status of your inventory item.

Possible statuses of inventory items are as follows:

  • VALID - validated for barcode uniqueness, awaiting approval
  • APPROVED - approved for use in warehouse
  • REJECTED - reason will be given for rejection, e.g. barcode not unique, missing HAZMAT documentation


Once approved, your inventory items are ready for inbounding and fulfilment!

You can query inventory levels at any time, as well as receive updates on all movements of your inventory items via API events.
