Inventory Approval

All Hazardous inventory items must be correctly classified and created with correct documentation. Service provider must then approve or reject all items to make them eligible for fulfilment, approval status can be queried at any time.

Inventory items require two types of validation for approval. These validations are handled by status.

The first validation is on barcode uniqueness - every barcode against an inventory item must be unique per organisation. THG Fulfil will validate this uniqueness and update status to VALID if all barcodes created against an inventory item are unique.

Once VALID, the second validation is on item classification - all hazardous inventory items must be accurately classified and created with correct documentation. The service provider will validate this data against each inventory item and then update the status to APPROVED or REJECTED.
